The charm
of the region is foremost, the sea. The sea, here,
is known to take amazing colours from light grey
to the many shades of blue or green.
Ever changing,
its tones are dictated by the sky, the wind, the
tide, the sun, the rain or any combination thereof.
The rain is fine and drizzly, soft and light,
barely noticeable and actually more rare than
one thinks.

Cherbourg's
charm is the surrounding sea, usually rough and
tormented, but the city is protected by one of the
world's most beautiful harbor walls that date to
the Napoleon era.
The Val de
Saire is a rural but also coastal region
which offers a multitude of leisure activities:
sailing, sea and river fishing, horseback riding,
hiking in the fields and woods.
