The cape of Carteret
is the last of the great cape of Cotentin, opposite,
the island of Jersey and the small islands of
Ecrehou.
Top of cliff, one
discovers in north a beautifull beach avoided
sea reeds and in the south a long ribbon of beaches,
natural shelters for the birds and the plants
of the salted mediums.
While turning the
back on the sea, in the east, a line of green
hills, from where emergent of the bell-towers
and mills, closes the horizon.
